Background

5Capital works with and raises capital for best-in-class private equity and other alternatives managers.
We are looking at recruiting additional institutional fundraiser(s), at a Partner level, to help raise assets across 5Capital’s various investment strategies and help expand our growing private markets advisory business.
The individual should have a solid understanding of the institutional marketing process, be able to effectively articulate the investment strategies of 5Capital clients, have demonstrated success cultivating a strong network in their respective marketplaces, and be equipped to lead the sales process from opening the door to closing the sale.
The roles will focus primarily on sophisticated institutional LPs across Europe, North America or Asia. Existing direct relationships with corporate and public plans, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, and multi-family offices are preferred.
The successful partners will be those self-starters who can identify, prioritize and gain access to new investors within the requisite channels or geographies. Knowledge of private equity and other private strategies is critical. Travel may be extensive at times, particularly around targeted fundraising periods with the fund managers.
5Capital is an emerging fundraising platform and is looking for entrepreneurial partner-level or director-level fundraisers who want to come in at a partner-level and help build an ambitious placement agent platform. The is not a salaried employee role, but an attractive revenue-share model, with unlimited performance-driven upside potential.
We are flexible in terms of the physical locations depending upon the geographic focus of the person(s).
